Work & Process
I begin each project with a vivid mental image, whether it’s a runway show I’ve seen online, the arrangement of my jewelry on my desk, or a fabric swatch that inspires me to explore its texture. My goal is to illustrate the stories of people, places, and objects with a distinctive style.
My primary media used to illustrate are Sumi, India, and acrylic inks and watercolor on paper, but I also use gouache, graphite, colored pencil, and the Concepts app for digital drawings. My heart is tied to good old-fashioned ink on paper.
